The whole beans in the 1 kg bag are meant for bean-to-cup and portafilter machines: you grind just before brewing, so the aroma lasts longer.
The ground coffee in the 250 g pack is ground for the Moka pot – no grinder needed.

At home it works just as well – in bean-to-cup and portafilter machines alike.
How do I store coffee best?
Cool, dry and dark, in a well-sealed container – not in the fridge: there, coffee picks up moisture and other smells.
Once opened, coffee is at its best within a few weeks. Ground coffee loses its aroma faster than whole beans.
